| Yes I was wrong to be enticed by the off the beaten path repuation of Sian Ka'an. The all day tour was a mind numbing stretch of mangrove dotted with termite mounds, the same single orchid species and same single bromeliad species. Kilometer after kilometer. And then grasses.
Lucky for us we were entertained by Senor Speedo. Who needs pants for hiking, eating lunch, boating. C who somehow did not take any photos of the mangroves apparently angled all day to get a good shot without arousing suspicion. |
